Biography

Costanza Naguib-Stettler is an assistant professor specializing in econometrics at the University of Bern. She obtained her PhD in economics from the Institute of Economic Research (IRE) in March 2018. Prior to this, she successfully completed the Swiss Program for Beginning Doctoral Students in Economics, offered at the Study Center Gerzensee in January 2017. She spent a period as a visiting PhD student at the Centre de recherche en économie et statistique (CREST) in Paris in April 2017. Her PhD thesis focuses on the development of a new semi-nonparametric model for analyzing wage mobility drivers, with particular emphasis on the role of education in determining individual wage mobility. Her competence areas include copulas, econometrics, labor economics, non-parametric econometrics, and wage mobility.
