Craig Chapman is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation at the University of Alberta. He started the ACELab upon joining the university in January 2013. Dr. Chapman received his PhD in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario in 2011, following an MSc in Psychology in 2007 from the same institution, and a BSc in Cognitive Systems from the University of British Columbia in 2004. His research interests focus on understanding simple motor behaviors such as reaching for a sip of tea and the neural mechanisms involved in decision making. Dr. Chapman is passionate about science and engaging with students, offering opportunities for undergraduate involvement in his research lab. He currently supervises three graduate students and teaches courses in skill acquisition and performance.
