Biography

Craig Doidge is a Professor of Finance at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, where he also serves as Vice-Dean of the Faculty. His research and teaching interests focus on international financial markets and corporate finance. Doidge has published numerous papers in leading finance journals and has received notable awards such as the Fama-DFA Prize for his paper on Capital Markets and Asset Pricing in 2004 and the Jensen Prize for his work on Corporate Finance and Organizations in 2017. He was voted Executive MBA Outstanding Faculty of the Year in 2017 and 2022. Earlier in his career, he served as Associate Editor for the Review of Financial Studies and guest editor for the Emerging Markets Review. Additionally, he was the Finance Area Coordinator from 2012 to 2018 and the Director of Faculty Recruiting in 2019. Doidge holds a PhD from Ohio State University and two degrees (MSc and BComm) from the University of Saskatchewan.
