Biography

Dr. Craig Orr is an ecologist specializing in Pacific wild salmon, currently splitting his time as a Conservation Advisor for Watershed Watch Salmon Society and an Environmental Advisor for Kwikwetlem Nation. Dr. Orr also provides advisory support to SFU's Pacific Water Research Centre and Makeway Canada’s Pacific Salmon Watersheds Fund, and has co-supervised students in the BCIT-SFU joint Masters Program in Ecological Restoration, which is no longer active. He holds postgraduate degrees in wildlife ecology (M.Sc. from Acadia University) and behavioral ecology (Ph.D. from Simon Fraser University).
