Professor Dr. Craig Sinclair

Biography

Craig Sinclair is a Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales' School of Psychology and a Senior Research Fellow at Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA). He received his PhD in Psychology from the University of Western Australia in 2010 and has a BA/BSc with Honours in Psychology from the same institution. Sinclair's research focuses on decision-making, particularly in the context of aging and dementia. He is involved in several studies related to advance care planning, including interventions to enhance proactive care planning in aged care settings. Sinclair conducts a range of research projects that address clinical trials and implementation research within aged care and end-of-life care contexts. He is committed to supporting students in higher degree research projects and has a strong interest in culturally and linguistically diverse communities. His work often aims to optimize decision-making processes for individuals facing cognitive decline, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care for the aging population.
