Biography

Cristian Tudorel Badea is a Professor of Radiology at the Duke Cancer Institute and a Research Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the Pratt School of Engineering. Additionally, he leads co-clinical cancer imaging efforts, serving as the principal investigator for the Duke Preclinical Research Resources for Quantitative Imaging Biomarkers initiative, part of the NCI Co-Clinical Imaging Research Program. His interdisciplinary work aims to build a virtual preclinical photon-counting CT platform to advance cancer research through accelerated method development and translation.
