Biography

Professor Cristina Piazza focuses on healthcare rehabilitation robotics, specifically on the study of human movement and the design of artificial devices based on soft robotics technologies. After completing her doctorate, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Northwestern University's Regenstein Foundation Center for Bionic Medicine, part of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, USA. Since 2020, she has been an assistant professor at the Technical University of Munich.
