Dr. Cristina Trevisan

Biography

Cristina E. Trevisan is an Associate Professor in the Teaching Stream at Carleton University, specializing in the Italian language. She serves as a coordinator and language advisor at the Norman Patterson School of International Affairs. Cristina obtained her Ph.D. in Literature from the University of Montreal, focusing on Comparative and General Literature with an emphasis on XXth Century Italian Literature. She also holds an M.A. in Comparative Literature from Carleton University and a B.A. with a double concentration in Italian Studies and Lettres françaises from the University of Ottawa. Her academic background and expertise enable her to provide a comprehensive education in Italian language and literature, contributing significantly to her department and the university's curriculum.
