Biography

Curran Daigle, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and the Assistant Director of Simulation at the Dell Medical School. He currently practices as an attending physician in the Division of Critical Care Medicine at the Dell Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Daigle earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency, including a chief residency and fellowship training in pediatric critical care at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. His research projects have focused on the prevalence, risk factors, and outcomes for patients who are difficult to bag-mask ventilate in pediatric intensive care units. Additionally, he has explored how providers perceive difficulties with bag-mask ventilation and the strategies they employ to address these challenges. His peer-reviewed work has been published in Critical Care Medicine and presented at the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Pediatric Acute Lung Injury and Sepsis Investigators conferences. His research interests encompass simulation, airway management, resuscitation, medical education, and interprofessional development.
