Biography

Dr. Curtis Fogel's research examines crime, corruption, violence, doping, discrimination, and social legal issues within the context of sport. He holds graduate degrees in Sociology (M.A., Ph.D.) and Law (LL.M.) from Osgoode Hall, as well as certificates in Human Rights Theory and Practice and the Fundamentals of Indigenous Peoples and Canadian Law. Currently, he serves as the Chair of the Department of Sport Management at Brock University. His research interests include the socio-legal aspects of sport, human rights, and gender-based violence. Dr. Fogel is currently accepting graduate students interested in completing thesis-based master's degrees or PhDs in these subject areas.
