Dr. Curtis Noordhof

Biography

Curtis Noordhof has 16 years of research experience and currently works as a Molecular Imaging & Cytometry Specialist Research Assistant at Queen's University. He joined the Queen's University Centre for Pain Management, where he provides extensive support in laboratory management and research. Curtis has previously served as a senior research assistant in the Department of Medicine within the Gastrointestinal Disease Research Unit (GIDRU) at Kingston General Hospital. Having also worked as a research assistant in the Department of Biochemistry at Queen's University, he has developed a broad skill set that includes flow cytometry, cell culturing, and confocal microscopy. His responsibilities encompass the maintenance of laboratory equipment and helping users develop experiments, create timelines, and troubleshoot issues. Curtis holds a diploma in Biological Technology from St. Lawrence College.
