Curtis Rollins is an applied economist whose research focuses on modeling choices, preferences, and perceptions related to food and environmental issues. He completed his BSc and MSc in Agricultural & Resource Economics at the University of Alberta in Canada and earned his PhD in Agricultural & Resource Economics from the University of Western Australia in 2024. Currently, he serves as a Lecturer in the School of Agriculture and Environment and is the Deputy Director (Training) at the Centre for Environmental Economics and Policy. Curtis's research interests largely revolve around integrating social sciences, psychology, and sociology with economic models of human behavior. His applied research methods address various topics, including renewable energy transition, farmers' adoption of environmentally beneficial practices, natural hazards, biodiversity, waste management, and forest policy. In addition to his research endeavors, he teaches courses covering environmental economics and resource economics.
