Dr. Cyd Eaton

Biography

Cyd Eaton is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, specializing in clinical psychology. She leads the Patient-Reported Outcomes service line within the Biostatistics and Epidemiology Data Management Core. Her research primarily focuses on measuring patient-reported outcomes related to health behaviors and medication adherence, with particular interest in facilitating health behavior changes through the integration of technology to promote self-management and adherence. Dr. Eaton's work predominantly involves children, adolescents, and young adults managing complex medical regimens. She is supported by the NIDDK and has completed her doctoral training in clinical psychology at the University of Georgia, along with an internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute's Behavioral Pediatrics track and a research fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Adherence Research Center.
