Biography

Cynthia Jun, O.D., F.A.A.O., is an optometrist and Clinical Instructor at the Wilmer Eye Institute’s Columbia, Maryland, location. She provides comprehensive eye care, with clinical interests in ocular surface disease, dry eyes, and glaucoma. Dr. Jun has expertise in fitting specialty rehabilitative contact lenses for post-surgical patients and those with diseased corneas. After obtaining her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of California, Berkeley. Following this, she completed a residency in ocular disease at the Baltimore VA Medical Center in conjunction with the Wilmer Eye Institute. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Jun has volunteered her services to the community and has presented lectures as part of her involvement in education.
