Biography

Cynthia Richard is an Associate Professor in the Teaching Stream at the University of Waterloo's School of Pharmacy. She serves as the Associate Director of Curriculum and Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Policy within the Faculty of Science. Dr. Richard holds a PhD in Pharmacology from Dalhousie University and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in nutrition at the University of Guelph. Her research interests encompass nutrition, natural health products, and scholarship in teaching and learning. Additionally, she has held various administrative roles including the chair of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and a member of numerous university committees. Cynthia continuously contributes to the field through her involvement in educational conferences and committees aimed at improving pharmacy education in Canada.
