Biography

Daisuke Mashima is an Associate Professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. His research interests span industrial control systems and cyber-physical systems security. He is involved in the areas of network security and deception technologies, such as honeypots, and enabling technologies for smart grids and smart nations. He has played a pivotal role in organizing various international academic conferences, including ACM AsiaCCS and IEEE SmartGridComm. In 2023, he served as an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security and will chair a special interest group focused on communications networks that enable smart grid technology in 2024. Currently, he is leading projects funded by SUTD and the National Research Foundation of Singapore aimed at enhancing the security and resilience of critical infrastructure.
