Biography

Dale J. Shpak is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Victoria. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering from the University of Calgary, and a Doctorate from the University of Victoria. Shpak is a registered professional engineer (PEng) in Canada. His research interests primarily focus on digital filter design and implementation, digital signal processing, and audio, wireless, and wireline systems. Additionally, he has extensive experience in embedded, distributed, and concurrent processing, as well as wireless remote sensing systems. Throughout his academic career, Shpak has contributed to various projects and has been involved in mentoring students in their academic pursuits.
