Biography

Dalia Palombo is an Assistant Professor at Tilburg Law School, specializing in Human Rights Law within the Department of Public Law and Governance. Before joining Tilburg University, she served as a postdoctoral fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Business Ethics at the University of St. Gallen. Palombo conducts research focusing on the intersection of human rights and business, with particular interests in environmental human rights, extraterritoriality, and corporate law. She has published extensively, including her book 'Business and Human Rights: The Obligations of the European Home States' and articles in journals such as the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies and the Human Rights Law Review. In addition to her duties at Tilburg, she is also an adjunct professor, teaching at various international universities across Europe and South America. Palombo is currently a principal investigator on a research project funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, exploring the themes of imperialism, business, and human rights. Passionate about teaching, she has supervised numerous PhD candidates and enjoys connecting with her students through the learning process.
