Dr. Dalvinder Singh

Biography

Dalvinder Singh is a Professor at the University of Warwick in the School of Law, specializing in Banking and Financial Regulation, Financial Sector Reform, and Corporate Insolvency. He has served as the Director of Postgraduate Studies and has a notable adjunct professor role at the University of Bologna. He has contributed significantly to the field through editorial roles in journals such as the Journal of Banking Regulation and has been a member of the Advisory Panel of the International Association of Deposit Insurers. Singh was also involved with the World Bank on projects related to European banking reforms and has published extensively on topics including the role of deposit insurers in crisis management. His research interests include understanding the implications of soft law instruments in banking supervision and the effects of financial regulations on systemic risk. Singh is actively engaged in training and consulting for central banks and financial regulatory authorities, integrating his expertise in financial crisis management into executive programs and seminars globally. He welcomes inquiries from prospective PhD students interested in banking financial law and regulation.
