Professor Dr. Damon Jackson

Biography

Damon Jackson graduated from Monash University in 2007 with honors and received the clinical school prize. He completed his internship and residency at the Alfred Hospital, where he also received numerous accolades for his teaching and mentorship capabilities. After finishing his physician's exam at the same institution, Damon underwent cardiology training at Eastern Health, Peninsula Health, and Monash Health. In 2015, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and subsequently completed a specialized fellowship in cardiac imaging at Monash Health in 2016. He joined Peninsula Health as a staff specialist in February 2017, where he provides care for patients across multiple private hospitals. His sub-specialty interests include cardiac echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CT, and clinical cardiology. Damon is a passionate educator who is deeply involved in training students in Monash University's physician training program and emphasizes educating patients in a relatable manner.
