Biography

The DAMS Lab at TU Berlin focuses on simplifying data science by providing high-level, data science-centric abstractions for building systems and tools. Their overarching mission is to execute data science tasks efficiently and in a scalable manner. The primary research emphasis is on the internals of machine learning systems throughout the entire data science lifecycle, which includes data integration and preparation, efficient model training, and debugging as well as serving. They also specialize in large-scale, distributed data management and analysis, contributing to concrete benchmarks for data and machine learning systems.
