Biography

Daniel Abramson is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington in the Urban Design and Planning department. His academic focus includes urban design, historic preservation planning, and socio-spatial analysis, with a particular emphasis on public participation and the qualitative study of politics and cultures. Abramson has extensive experience in community-engaged planning and research, often working with immigrant, low-income, indigenous, and marginalized communities across various regions including Boston, the Canadian Pacific Northwest, Poland, China, and Japan.
