Biography

Dan Roth is the Eduardo D. Glandt Distinguished Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania. His research interests primarily lie in Machine Learning, Inference Methods, and Natural Language Understanding. He has made significant contributions to the field and has been recognized by several prestigious awards and honors over the years. Notably, Roth received the DARPA Information Science Technology Advisory Panel award in 2020 and the International Joint Conference AI John McCarthy Award in 2017.
