Dana Levy Guyer, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and a Clinician Educator specializing in palliative care at the Lifespan Cancer Institute, Rhode Island Hospital, and Miriam Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and subsequently completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics, followed by a fellowship in palliative care and hospice at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Guyer is board-certified in hospice and palliative medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics. As a fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, her clinical research interests focus on early integration of palliative care for cancer patients, management of palliative care for patients with hematologic malignancies, and the integration of palliative care within multidisciplinary oncology teams.
