Biography

Professor Hyde teaches Telfer School's BCom Executive MBA programs in areas such as International Business, General Management, Strategy, and Management Consulting. She holds an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration (HBA) and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, as well as a PhD in Management from INSEAD, recognized by Business Week magazine as a leading global business school. Her specialization includes corporate strategy and strategic organizational change for multinational diversified firms. Before joining the Telfer School of Management in 2002, Professor Hyde was a faculty member at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, a leader in entrepreneurial education, and at the Ivey School of Business where she won the Dean's Teaching Award multiple times. Professor Hyde has authored or co-authored over 20 teaching case studies, many of which have become worldwide bestsellers and won international prizes. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Case Centre, an organization that promotes the case method in management education among its 800+ global business school members. Over the past 25 years, she has worked as a consultant and researcher for various multinational organizations across countries in Europe and Canada, studying practices in more than 20 countries around the world.
