Dr. Dana Rezazadegan

Biography

Dana Rezazadegan is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Informatics at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation, Macquarie University. She is currently working on leveraging artificial intelligence to automate documentation and diagnosis, aiding healthcare professionals. Dana obtained her Ph.D. from the Queensland University of Technology, where her dissertation focused on enhancing the understanding of robotic systems regarding human actions to assist with assembling tasks. She developed deep learning methodologies based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks to predict human action recognition. Prior to her doctoral studies, her research concentrated on trajectory tracking and mobile robotics, particularly Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). Dana's research interests encompass Robotic Vision, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Autonomous Systems, and Human-Robot Collaboration.
