Biography

Dani is a PhD candidate in the School of Population and Global Health at the University of Western Australia. Her research focuses on women with ADHD, particularly during pregnancy. She has a strong interest in equitable, consumer-led research and employs both qualitative and quantitative methods to explore pharmacotherapy options for ADHD treatment and its effects on pregnancy. Her work is informed by direct community consultation, aiming to improve clinical guidance and policy that centers the voices of individuals with lived experiences. Prior to her PhD, she completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours), investigating maternal and neonatal health outcomes associated with ceasing or continuing dexamphetamine treatment during pregnancy.
