Biography

Dania Daye, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Department of Radiology, where she serves as the Vice Chair for Practice Transformation and the inaugural Director of the Center for High Value Imaging. She received her PhD in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her medical degree at the same institution in 2014. Dr. Daye undertook her internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, followed by a residency in radiology and a fellowship in vascular interventional radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Prior to joining UW-Madison, Dr. Daye was an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School and the Director of the Precision Interventional Medical Imaging lab at MGH and the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. Her research focuses on women's health, particularly in interventional radiology aspects such as venous disease, genicular artery embolization, hemorrhoid artery embolization, and interventional oncology. Dr. Daye is recognized for her contributions to medical management and leadership in interventional radiology, holding a certificate in healthcare management leadership, and has led initiatives to enhance the quality and value of imaging practices.
