Biography

Daniel Aliseda Jover graduated from the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain, with a degree in Medicine and completed his residency in General Surgery at Clínica Universidad de Navarra. During his training, he developed a strong interest in Hepatobiliopancreatic diseases and Liver Transplantation, and led a PhD project that gained national recognition for its contributions to improving survival rates for patients with liver pancreatic neoplasms. Besides his clinical achievements, Daniel completed a clinical research stay at the Hépato-Biliaire Center in Paul Brousse Hospital, Paris. After finishing his residency, he joined the HPB Liver Transplant Unit at Clínica Universidad de Navarra as a Junior Attending Surgeon. He has received several honors, including runner-up for Publication of the Year in 2021 and a winner for the same title in 2023, both awarded by the RCUN Research Award at Clínica Universidad de Navarra. Daniel is actively involved in various professional organizations and has been appointed as a trainee member of the Vanguard Committee for the International Liver Transplant Society and as a member of multiple scientific committees for global consensus conferences focused on liver-related treatments. He is also serving on the editorial boards of two reputable surgical journals. Daniel continues to focus on his research interests and expands his expertise in hepatobiliary surgery and transplantation.
