Daniel Chamié, M.D., Ph.D., is an Interventional Cardiologist with expertise in complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), intravascular imaging, and coronary physiology. After returning to Brazil, Dr. Chamié was a faculty member at the Interventional Cardiology Department at the same institute for 10 years. His work involved developing analysis methods for Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and studying novel devices in various clinical scenarios. In August 2022, he joined the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. He is an internationally recognized clinician and researcher, actively participating in clinical trials and studies, and serves as a Section Editor for the Journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
