Biography

Daniel Conway is a Professor of Philosophy at Texas A&M University, holding the Thomas F. Mayo Professorship in the College of Liberal Arts. He earned his BA in Philosophy and Economics from Tulane University and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of California, San Diego. Conway has previously held faculty positions at Stanford University, Harvard University, and Penn State University. His academic interests primarily lie in Post-Kantian European Philosophy, Social and Political Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Genocide Studies. He has published eighteen books and over 150 articles, contributing significantly to scholarly discourse on critical theory, education, and political theory, among others. Throughout his career, he has received grants from prestigious organizations, including the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program. Conway is also involved in various professional associations and serves on several editorial boards. He has presented lectures on six continents and is actively engaged in teaching and mentorship at Texas A&M University.
