Daniel Erker is an Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics and the Department of Romance Studies at Boston University. He earned an MA in Linguistics from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and a PhD in Linguistics from New York University. Erker is the director of the federally-funded Spanish Boston Project, which investigates the sociolinguistic behavior of Spanish-speaking Bostonians.
