Biography

Daniel Hall is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft, Netherlands. He leads the Chair in Innovative Industrial Construction, focusing on increasing innovation within the built environment. His research investigates new forms of process, organization, and information to integrate the supply chain both vertically and horizontally in a fragmented construction industry. He has main research themes that include decentralized governance within the built environment and industrialized construction. Recently, he has explored solutions to sustainably address the global housing crisis. Daniel completed his PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University, where he also worked at the Global Projects Center advising Dr. Raymond E. Levit. He holds a Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering with a focus on Sustainable Design & Construction from Stanford University (2014) and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (2008).
