Biography

Daniel Hamilton is a Research Fellow in the Methods Evidence Synthesis Unit at Monash University, specializing in the development and evaluation of statistical research methodologies aimed at optimizing evidence synthesis. He trained originally as a radiation therapist and has worked in both clinical and research roles, including coordination of national and international multimodal cancer clinical trials. Alongside his work at Monash, he serves as a Research Project Supervisor for the University of Melbourne's Master of Cancer Sciences course. His research focuses on developing guidance and technology to promote robust evidence synthesis methods and comprehensive reporting of research. Daniel is committed to advancing open science practices and investigating issues related to reproducibility, robustness, and integrity in research publications. He is affiliated with the South Australian Health & Medical Research Institute's Steering Committee for the Australian Particle Therapy Clinical Quality Registry and serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Clinical Epidemiology.
