Daniel Harvitt graduated from UC Berkeley with a PhD in Physiological Optics in 1997 and completed his OD degree in 2000. After obtaining his OD degree, Dr. Harvitt joined the faculty at Berkeley while also practicing in private care, public health, and the contact lens industry. At UC Berkeley, he teaches courses in optics, ophthalmic optics, low vision optics, and clinical primary care. He remains committed to advancing optometry and is excited about the future of clinical care and research at Berkeley Optometry.
