Biography

Professor Horton leads the Climate Change Research Group (CCRG) at Northwestern University. CCRG investigates Earth’s climate system and its interaction with human and natural systems across diverse spatiotemporal scales. The group explores a variety of topics including extreme weather events, the near-term meteorological and societal impacts of anthropogenic climate change, and the evolution of Earth’s climate system over geologic time.
