Biography

Daniel Lansberg-Rodriguez is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, where he has been part of the faculty since 2014. He specializes in political risk, geopolitics, corruption, country branding, family enterprises, and institutional development in emerging markets, particularly in Latin America. He is the founding partner of Aurora Macro Strategies, a macroeconomic geopolitical research and advisory firm that serves a select group of financial, commercial, and government clients. From 2014 to 2023, Daniel served as the Director for the Latin American region at Greenmantle, advising some of the world's premier hedge funds. His past roles include serving as a division chief for entrepreneurial development at the Sucre Municipal Government in Caracas, and he has worked with notable organizations such as Goldman Sachs, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Daniel has contributed to various media outlets as a political analyst and columnist, and he has written for prestigious publications. He holds a B.A. cum laude from Carleton College, a J.D. from the University of Chicago, and an M.P.P. from Harvard University, focusing on International Trade and Finance.
