Biography

Daniel Lavy, MD is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in colon and rectal surgery. He is fellowship-trained and has extensive experience in minimally invasive surgical techniques and robotic laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Lavy's clinical expertise includes the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, as well as diverticulitis and colorectal cancers. His medical career was inspired by his work as a volunteer emergency medical technician (EMT), which sparked his interest in patient care.
