Dr. Daniel Mark

Biography

Daniel Mark is a Professor of Medicine and a member of the Duke Clinical Research Institute at Duke University. He has served in various capacities, including Vice Chief for Academic Affairs in the Division of Cardiology. A clinical cardiologist, Dr. Mark's career at Duke began in 1985. He completed his medical degree at Tufts University and a cardiology fellowship at Duke University after an internship at the University of Virginia Hospital. He is directing several significant clinical trials, including PROMISE, CABANA, ISCHEMIA, and STICH, investigating various aspects of cardiac care and interventions.
