Dr. Daniel Prior

Biography

Daniel Prior is a pediatric hematologist oncologist and transplant physician specializing in the care of children with hematologic malignancies that require hematopoietic cell transplantation. His practice includes management of high-risk recurrent malignancies, bone marrow failure syndromes, and hemoglobinopathies. Dr. Prior leads the Bone Marrow Failure program at Yale. He is a dedicated educator who enjoys teaching, collaborating with, and mentoring learners at all levels. Originally from Connecticut, he returned to the state for medical school and residency, and he is proud to serve on the faculty at Yale University. Dr. Prior continues to contribute to the Yale community through his clinical practice and educational initiatives.
