Biography

Daniel Reimsbach is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Business Economics at Radboud University Nijmegen. He earned his PhD from Düsseldorf University, Germany in 2011. Following his doctoral studies, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher and assistant professor at Düsseldorf University from 2013 to 2016. He also held an interim Chair in Accounting Risk Management at the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany. In 2015, he completed his post-doctoral degree, 'Habilitation,' at Düsseldorf University. His research focuses on the role of accounting information in the realms of sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR), exploring how such information shapes managers' CSR decisions and how investors respond to CSR disclosures. He has methodological expertise in experimental research both in laboratory and online settings. His work has been published in high-impact international journals such as European Accounting Review, Strategic Organization, and Academy of Management Discoveries.
