Biography

Daniela Goyes is a Clinical Fellow in the Department of Digestive Diseases at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Her clinical research interests focus on health disparities and liver transplantation outcomes. Born and raised in Ecuador, she pursued her medical education at Universidad Central del Ecuador, earning her MD in 2016. Daniela completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Loyola MacNeal Hospital in 2023. Prior to her fellowship, she served as a Research Fellow at the Liver Research Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she received training in the principles and practices of Clinical Research from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. In addition to her academic pursuits, Daniela is passionate about outdoor activities such as rock climbing and running, and she practices yoga to maintain balance in her life.
