Biography

Daniela Hochreiter completed medical school at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, and finished her Pediatric residency at Brenner Children's Hospital/Wake Forest University Medical Center in North Carolina in 2014. She subsequently followed with a Chief Residency year at Herman Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital Sinai in Baltimore. In 2015, she became a Pediatric Hospitalist at Yale School of Medicine, where she serves as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Hospitalist Program at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London. Dr. Hochreiter cares for newborns and young adult patients in an inpatient setting and is a member of the YNHCH quality improvement steering committee. She devotes time to quality improvement focused on newborn care and is interested in medical education for new mothers, patients, and trainees. She is board certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine.
