Biography

Daniela McFarland is a licensed clinical social worker in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between UT Health Austin and Dell Children’s Medical Center. She is part of the IMPACT program at Dell Children’s, which provides social work services as part of an interprofessional team dedicated to the psychosocial well-being of single ventricle patients and their families. McFarland also participates in research and program development focused on improving patient-centered care for families dealing with congenital heart disease. She earned her Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin and her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from St. Edward’s University. McFarland is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
