Biography

Daniella Strik is a Professor of Company Law at Radboud University, focusing on International Litigation. With a career that began in 1996 as a lawyer, she joined NautaDutilh and became a partner in 2005. In 2010, she took on a new role at Linklaters LLP as a partner and leads their Dutch litigation department, as well as their global group focusing on class actions. Strik specializes in assisting corporations with complex international disputes, particularly in relation to class actions and ESG issues. Alongside her legal practice, she has actively contributed to academic discourse, obtaining a PhD in 2010 from Rotterdam, where she explored directors' liability. She has published extensively on corporate governance and litigation from an international perspective and holds board memberships in various associations related to corporate litigation and arbitration. Strik is also involved in legislative advisory committees and is a guest lecturer at universities such as Grotius Academy. Her recent research is supported by a €40,000 grant from the Christine Mohrmann Fund, which aims to enhance gender diversity in academia.
