Dr. Danielle Alsandor

Biography

Danielle Alsandor is currently an Assistant Professor and Deputy Director of Curriculum & Enrollment for Undergraduate Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. With 17 years of experience in higher education, she has held various faculty and administrative positions that focus on enhancing the educational experience for diverse student populations. Her work emphasizes high-quality project management practices aimed at addressing climate and culture in educational settings. Previously, she has served as a faculty member at the University of the Incarnate Word, Louisiana State University, and Valdosta State University. During her tenure, she taught 25 graduate-level courses and conducted over 100 presentations and trainings. Alsandor has a strong commitment to supporting first-generation college students and individuals from low-income backgrounds as they navigate their educational journeys. She earned her Ph.D. and M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
