Danielle Elliott Range is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology at Duke University. She completed her AP/CP training and a head and neck fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and then pursued a cytopathology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. After joining the faculty at MD Anderson, Dr. Range specialized in head and neck cytopathology before relocating to Duke in 2015. Dr. Range has created educational materials to aid her physician colleagues in understanding pre-analytical variables affecting cytopathology. At Duke, she has taken on roles such as the associate medical director of cytopathology and the section chief for ENT/Endocrine Pathology, as well as chairing the Clinical Competency Committee for the cytopathology fellowship. In addition, she is active in the American Society of Cytopathology and the Current Concepts Research Committee.
