Biography

Danielle Yaffe is a senior instructor at the University of Manitoba's College of Nursing. After graduating from the Bachelor of Nursing program in 2006, she gained expertise in critical areas such as acute surgery, post-anesthesia care, and critical care. In 2014, she began her role as a nurse educator in the Health Sciences Centre's clinical education program, which solidified her passion for teaching and led her to join the College of Nursing as an instructor in 2015. Danielle completed her Master's Nursing with a teaching focus at Athabasca University in 2018. During her time at the College of Nursing, she has engaged in diverse teaching roles including clinical education facilitator, simulation facilitator, skills lab instructor, theory instructor, and senior practicum advisor course leader. Her varied experiences have greatly contributed to her understanding of nursing education and support for student learning. Danielle is dedicated to evolving as an educator, actively seeking to adapt to the complexities of higher education and pursuing professional development opportunities.
