Biography

Danlu Guo is an Associate Professor at the ANU College of Systems and Society, having joined in December 2022. He completed his PhD in Hydrology at the University of Adelaide in April 2017 and subsequently worked as a Research Associate at UNSW Sydney and the University of Melbourne. His research expertise spans hydrology and environmental engineering, focusing on rainfall-runoff modeling, water quality modeling, and climate change impact assessment. He has developed data-driven large-sample approaches to enhance the understanding of catchment water resources. Danlu's contributions have been recognized through awards such as the GN Alexander Medal, presented by Engineers Australia in 2022, and the Early Career Research Award from the Modelling Simulation Society Australia New Zealand in 2019. He has also led significant research projects and has extensive teaching and supervisory experience in environmental engineering and hydrology. Currently, Danlu serves as the Chief Editor for the Australasia Journal of Water Resources and has been involved in various editorial roles.
