Dr. Dante Gennaro

Biography

Dante Gennaro Jr. is a seasoned public health professional and program director dedicated to advancing healthcare education and community well-being. Currently, he serves as the Program Director for the New England AIDS Education Training Center at Yale University, where he develops and implements training programs, manages outreach efforts, and produces educational content to strengthen healthcare capacity. With expertise in program management and stakeholder engagement, Dante plays a key role in enhancing public health initiatives in the region. He has over a decade of experience in HIV prevention, health communications, and event coordination and has led statewide initiatives while organizing large-scale conferences and spearheading strategic health campaigns. As a Health Communications Coordinator at the Connecticut Department of Public Health, he developed public-facing campaigns, managed digital media, and facilitated health education programs on critical topics such as HIV prevention and COVID-19. His leadership extends to strategic planning, grant management, and capacity-building efforts aimed at reducing health disparities and improving access to care for vulnerable populations.
